Parallel World: Kaiji is caught crying.
Convenience store colour is based on 'Lemon Mart' in Princess Maker 5. The blonde girl is your daughter from PM5. The background of the game is indeed Japan.

I just wanted to draw some backgrounds since I'm a sucker at it. Spent like 2days on the background(then I cropped it cuz I didn't like it boohoo) and like an hour on the characters. Worst part is I don't really like it! Well, practice makes perfect or so they say..

I actually drew inside the store if you look close enough :D And there's a 'Free Huey' magazine in one of the displays.
After I finished I realized that convenience stores have a bunch of ads/posters on the walls. So I put up some pics according to my taste. I am not a fan of Zhuge Liang though; I'm a Yokomitsu ROTK fan. Condor Joe is the love of my life. Decepticons are Superior and.. it's the year of the mouse.

the bg is very nice, Kaiji obviously did a good job at cleaning the windows. LOL at the cute Jolyne mouse poster

thx, it doesn't look much but a lot of effort was put onto it since I have no idea on colouring backgrounds XP (yeah, I don't know that much)

Come to think of it, it was Chinese New Years several days ago. Although I drew that Jolyne in January.

That's actually very nice. It's so clean and I like the colouring. And the posters are fun. : D
Also aww, Kaiji, don't cry! (Or... well... it's not that I wouldn't love it when you cry...)

That reminds me of something.. the anime Kaiji is actually very attractive looking compared to the manga. He seems at least 6ft tall(or taller than most of the characters), is on the OK side in the looks department, has a nice fit body and long legs. I begin to wonder how he ended up like this with all of those. I mean, attractive people are mostly more confident and better off in their lives, right?

I do know that some artwork changes has to be made in order to 'adapt' to the 'current flow' but still.. Kaiji is too sexy :D

Ahh, poor Kaiji getting carried away... The background is really well done!! I find constructing those kinds of things pretty tiresome myself.
I happen to be a fan of Zhuge Liang, but who is Yokomitsu?
